We returned Sunday Night from CHA Summer and we are so happy and excited about all the great great new products shipping over the next 4 months! 

There are a lot of new great paper lines being released from Bo-Bunny, Little yellow bycicle  Also, the new "Laundry Line" from  My Minds Eye was awesome.  A whole rack of glitter paper with all new embellishments! 

Some products will ship within 2 weeks and the others won't ship til September -October so make sure you make frequent stops into the store as new products start rolling in. 

I personally had a great time there at CHA and was able to have met some of the actual designers like "Sandy Lion's" Kelly Panacci and her Husband Mario.  We did a Make n Take with them and had a nice conversation with them, they are very nice  sincere people.  We were so happy to have met them.  I will post photos in a day or so to share!  

 

CHA is approaching us soon!  And we at the Scrapbook Store are planning a road trip to Chicago in a few weeks to see all the latest and greatest in store for us
"scrap-o-holics".  While there we will be able to see, first hand, all the newest designs and products that the Scrapbook store will order to be delivered to our store in the very near future!!  We all get so excited for this show every year, to see everything that is coming out and to be able to pick and choose what we think you all will like!  So be on the look out once the show is over (3rd week of July) for all the new arrivals!

So ... to all of you who attended the All Day Krop at Klemmers......HOW WAS IT?  I was not able to attend the Krop myself but am curious to hear how it went and if there were any problems with ANYTHING at all??   How was the food?  How was the lighting?  How were the seating arrangements?  Come on ya'll....tell me everything!!

The "All Day Krop" is completely sold out !  A HUGE thank you to everybody for making this such a successfull event.  I'm sure you will be excited & impressed with the location of this krop just as we are.  We are all anxious for this day to come and to get feed back from all of you who made this possible!

I Need some input.....As most of you know through our e-mails that were sent out at the end of April, we had our Make ~n~ Take Buffet at the store on "National Scrapbooking Day" which was on May 3rd. We set up 4 stations throughout the store and had 7-8 different projects going on at these tables.  The cost was $5 dollars to do ALL of these projects to take home with you...but we ended up being sold out within the hour of selling these tickets.  We at the Scrapbook Store having never done this before had no idea what to expect as far as the turn out went & it was much more than we imagined!  So the make~n~take team got together and we set up a raincheck day for those of you who couldn't get in on the 3rd.  The make up day was on the 10th of May and almost everyone of you who gave us your name and # were able to make it.  We just wanted to know how everyone liked this event?  Do you think you would come to another make~n~take event if we planned one?  Do you have any requests on futue projects? Do you have any complaints regarding the one you attended? Is there an event that we have not yet done that you would like to see happen at The Scrapbook Store?
 We need your feedback so that we can continue to help better our future plans and as always we want to make sure you are happy with our staff and the way you are treated.

Ok, so we have been hearing all kinds of things about this "Page Maps" Book by Becky Fleck....Does anybody have this book yet or does anyone have any scoop on this book and why it is in such demand?  We would love to have some comments on this book and would love to know if you all think it is something we need to order in to our store.....Tell us what you think, Thanks!

We would like everyone to welcome our 2 newest employees who have just recently started working the retail side of the store this past week.  Christina who is actually already one of our classroom instructors and Dawn who is very new to us.  Welcome girls we are all happy to have you join our gang here at the SBS.

For those of you who don't know this, we are conducting a "Layout Contest" at The Scrapbook Store going on now until June 5, 2008.  
The layout design is a "Sketch" from  the newest Sketches book by Becky Higgins.  If you are interested in taking part in this contest simply ask anyone at the store for a flyer regarding the Sketches contest and your all set to start your contest layout.  
The rules state that you can enter only 2 layouts per customer either 12x12 or 8x8 pages accepted.  All layouts must be returned back into the store for judging by June 5, 2008  then the winner will be announced on June 7, 2008.
The prize given is a nice 12x12 zip bag full of scrapbooking goodies!  
So get in to the store, pick up your info sheet and get started on your layouts. Any questions, feel free to leave them here on the blog site and we will be happy to answer them as best as possible.
